Why Don’t I See VAT on My Receipts for Rebtel Credits?

 

Why the Change?

Previously, when you bought World Credits (used mainly for calling), we included VAT on the receipt because calling services have VAT. Now, with the new Rebtel Credits, you can use your credits for both calling and Mobile Top-Ups (MTU). Because of this flexibility, we no longer show VAT on your receipts at the time of purchase.

 

When Is VAT Applied?

VAT is applied only when you use your Rebtel Credits for calling, as that service includes VAT. If you use your credits for MTU (Mobile Top-Up), VAT is not applied, as MTU purchases are generally VAT-exempt.

 

How Can I See the VAT?

You can find VAT details in the Account Activity section of your Rebtel app. This will show the VAT for any credits used for calling.
